Let me show you a talented fashion blogger from Hungary, Sonia.
How long have you been blogging? What was the one thing that prompted you to start a blog?
I started my current blog about two weeks ago. I had a blog about a year ago, which lasted for approximately one month before I got seriously sick of it; I was disappointed because writing a quality blog turned out to be much more work than I had anticipated. However, I was and still am a very artistic person to this day, and I needed and still need an outlet for my creativity.
I had to think long and hard before deciding to start writing a blog, because this time I was aware of the work that goes with it. In the end, I decided to restart blogging, despite all that it entailed, because I needed an outlet for my passions and a platform to express my creativity. This desire to have my voice heard was what prompted me to start writing a blog both times I did.
What inspires you?
Anime/manga, punk, rock, Effy Stonem, school uniforms, Paolo Sebastian dresses, street styles of people I see in malls… It would be really hard to list them all, because there are so many. In fact, I have never been able to come up with a proper answer to this question, other than that I am still searching for my signature style and anything and everything basically inspires me. But I am enjoying the journey, the experimentation, the shopping trips. Self-discovery is always exciting, isn’t it, no matter the form?
Do you listen to music when you write? If you do, what do you listen to?
Yes, I actually do listen to music when I write. I usually listen to Charlie XCX (as I think she is the most original and talented artist out there right now), Marina and the Diamonds, Lana del Rey, Lorde, The Pretty Reckless, etc.
Who is your target audience? Who are you writing to/for?
I don’t really have a target audience; I write for anyone who enjoys what I blog about. I don’t think fashion blogging is reserved for teens, or that only they can and only they should enjoy it. To my greatest pleasure, this mentality is shared by my followers; I have readers from all walks of life and of all age groups, ranging from preteens to middle-aged women.
I really can’t choose
